"Our story began in New York and quickly became something far greater than either of us ever expected."
Just three months into our relationship, Ron was diagnosed with Stage IV colorectal cancer at 37 years old. What followed was not a pause on life, but a decision to keep living it fully, through surgeries, chemotherapy, uncertainty, travel, work, love, and ultimately, engagement.
As we began planning our wedding, we realized we wanted this celebration to become part of something larger than ourselves.
We are asking our family and friends — and the broader community — to support The Colorectal Foundation, an organization dedicated to advancing awareness, advocacy, and support for young-onset colorectal cancer patients navigating life during and after diagnosis.
This foundation is deeply personal to us. It was built from lived experience and from the belief that no one should have to face cancer without guidance, community, or hope.
